Meet Andréanne, more commonly know around the Prometour office as "Dre." A former Tour Consultant (2014-2016), Andréanne returned to Prometour in 2018 after her maternity leave to become a Tour Project Manager. In this post, get to know more about this important member of the Prometour team!
I grew up in Ontario and moved to Montreal in 2004. I went to l’Université de Montréal and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences. My interests revolve around nature and tourism.
I wasn’t sure if I wanted to work in education or in travel, when I saw a job posting that combined both, I immediately applied.
No destination will ever beat Costa Rica. It is absolutely stunning and peaceful.
I went to Haiti a few year ago, this was my first trip where I stayed with "the locals" instead of in a hotel. It made me realize how lucky we are in North America to have electricity and running water. This trip made me appreciate all the little things I had been taking for granted for so many years.
Thailand and Brazil mostly to see the rainforest.
Ireland because it looks beautiful.
Canada because this country is so vast and there is a lot left for me to discover.
Knowing that I helped plan a trip that the students will remember and cherish for the rest of their lives.

When I was young, my parents brought my sister and me to Disneyland in Orlando, we then traveled to Las Vegas and met up with other family members who were vacationing there. The fun we had and the memories that we still talk about today definitely gave me the travel bug.
Besides home, I would say the Plateau Mont-Royal, the coolest and greenest neighborhood in Montreal.
